Job summary

Dine Brands Global, Inc. in Pasadena seeks a Senior Counsel to lead broad-based transactional matters, including securities, corporate governance, and franchising across Applebee’s, IHOP and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.

You will counsel internal clients, review SEC disclosures, negotiate franchise documents, and provide strategic guidance at all levels, emphasizing accuracy and cross-brand collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of broad-based transactional or securities/corporate law experience.
• J.D. from an accredited top tier law school.
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
• Ability to influence business clients and provide practical strategic advice at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Counsel internal clients on structuring franchise deals and negotiations.
• Review and prepare SEC disclosure materials (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, Proxy).
• Advise on corporate and securities issues including M&A and capital markets.
• Negotiate franchise-related agreements and ensure compliance with franchise laws.
• Provide support to other legal functions and cross-brand teams.
