• Identify and supervise complex legal issues related to risk and resolution of systemically important financial institutions.
• Interpret and apply statutes and regulations for policy initiatives on systemic monitoring and risk analysis.
• Provide legal counsel to FDIC divisions on resolutions, receiverships, and cross-border issues.
• Guide formulation and execution of regulations and procedures for oversight of large bank holding companies and other financial institutions.
• Supervise staff attorneys and oversee implementation of resolution strategies and cross-border arrangements.
