Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing projects or teams and guiding technical work.
• Experience as a practicing attorney in banking or regulatory environment with knowledge of administrative law and banking laws, including the FDIC Act.
• Experience implementing requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act and maintaining legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison and represent the Corporation or Legal Division at meetings with regulators and agencies on legal issues affecting supervised institutions.
• Serve on intra/interagency committees, task forces and working groups on legislation, rulemakings, policy statements, and guidance.
• Oversee complex, precedent-setting matters within BAU and advise senior management and directors on laws and regulations governing insured depository institutions.
• Formulate policy and ensure FDIC nationwide uniformity in interpretation and application of laws and regulations.
