Empower Retirement is seeking a Senior Counsel to support its defined contribution and multiemployer retirement businesses. The role focuses on ERISA, tax, fiduciary, and regulatory matters, guiding product and service development with a practical, business-oriented approach.

The Senior Counsel will partner with product, operations, client service, sales, and finance teams to manage risk while enabling growth and client satisfaction across Empower's retirement offerings.

Formación

• Juris Doctor and active license to practice law in the U.S.
• 5–7+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Expertise advising on defined contribution and multiemployer (Taft-Hartley) plans, ERISA and tax issues.
• Experience with MEPS/PEP and health & welfare plans.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the principal legal advisor to Empower's defined contribution and multiemployer business.
• Lead legal support for ongoing operation, advising on ERISA, tax, fiduciary, and regulatory matters.
• Advise on product enhancements, operational improvements, and client solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical, business-focused legal solutions.
