Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a Senior Counsel – Real Estate, Corporate & Development to partner with the General Counsel and executive leadership. This role will steer sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, ground leasing, acquisitions, development and construction matters as part of PopStroke's national expansion.

You will also provide practical corporate guidance across a fast-growing hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

Requires Juris Doctor (JD) and active Texas Bar admission.
5–7 years of relevant legal experience.
Strong experience with commercial real estate transactions and ground leasing.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead legal support for venue development from LOI through post-construction operations.
Draft, review and negotiate LOIs, ground leases, P&S agreements, easements and development documents.
Conduct due diligence including title commitments, surveys, zoning and encumbrances.
Partner with Development, Construction, Facilities and Finance throughout projects.
Advise on governance, risk management and contract interpretation across operations.
Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and specialty matters when appropriate.
Provide practical, business-focused legal advice balancing risk with operational needs.
