PetSmart Store Support Group, Inc. seeks an experienced attorney to serve as the primary legal advisor supporting Proprietary Brands, Global Sourcing, Product Quality & Compliance, and Store Operations.

This role provides strategic counsel on sourcing, development, marketing, safety, and regulatory compliance of PetSmart products, partnering with business leaders to balance risk and objectives. The candidate will lead regulatory programs, respond to inquiries, and help build scalable policies

Qualifikationen

• JD required with active bar membership and in-house eligibility in Arizona.
• 7–10 years of related experience, preferably in consumer products or retail.
• Significant experience advising on product, regulatory and commercial matters.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary legal advisor for Proprietary Brands, Global Sourcing, Product Quality & Compliance, and Store Operations.
• Provide strategic guidance on sourcing, development, marketing, safety, and regulatory compliance of products.
• Develop and implement compliance programs, including responsible sourcing and sustainability requirements.
• Support regulatory inquiries, recalls, country-of-origin, and enforcement matters.
• Build scalable policies, playbooks, and self-service tools for business teams.
• Collaborate across functions to balance risk with business objectives.
