OpenTable is seeking a Senior Counsel, Privacy & Product to join our Legal team in San Francisco, hybrid schedule. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, Security, Commercial, Partnerships, and Marketing, guiding privacy, data protection, and AI governance across the product lifecycle.
You will also act as Deputy Privacy Officer, partnering with Booking Holdings to operationalize global privacy programs while enabling responsible innovation at scale.

About the jobOpenTable is looking for a highly motivated, practical, and business-oriented Senior Counsel, Privacy & Product to join our Legal team. You will serve as a trusted advisor to OpenTable’s Product, Engineering, Security, Commercial, Partnerships, and Marketing teams, providing strategic and practical counsel across product development, privacy and data protection, artificial intelligence, information security, consumer protection, and related regulatory matters. You will also serve as OpenTable’s Deputy Privacy Officer, helping lead and operationalize OpenTable’s global privacy program and serving as a key liaison with Booking Holdings, Inc. (BHI) on privacy and data protection matters. This role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys working closely with commercial, product and technical teams, navigating emerging areas of law, and developing practical solutions that enable responsible innovation at scale.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States based role is $210,000-$220,000.

This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
