Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a senior Assistant General Counsel to shape internal policy, strategy, and affirmative litigation across U.S. government pricing initiatives.

You will coordinate with NA General Counsel and other leaders to define positions, advocate for programs, and drive 340B implementation while ensuring legal defensibility and strategic alignment. You will partner across teams to translate complex regulatory developments into proactive legal and policy responses that support patient access

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a practicing attorney with strong litigation and policy strategy background.
• Demonstrated ability to shape positions and strategy, not just execution.
• Strong executive presence, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define internal legal positions on drug pricing and government programs including 340B, MFN, and IRA-related issues.
• Develop environment-shaping strategy with cross-functional partners across Law Division.
• Monitor federal/state developments and translate analysis into actionable leadership recommendations.
• Lead defined portions of 340B program implementation and related HRSA ADR matters.
• Advise on litigation risk and strategic implications of policy and program design decisions.
• Collaborate with government affairs, public policy, and communications to advance policy positions.
