Job summary

Sanofi in Morristown, NJ seeks an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to support Patient Support Services and Diagnostic Testing programs. The role requires at least 7 years of pharmaceutical/biotech legal experience and NJ or MA licensure, with a strong focus on False Claims Act, Anti‑Kickback

Qualifications

• JD and a license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction (New Jersey or Massachusetts preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, preferably including both law firm and in-house experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry
• Experience working in a matrix, international environment
• Substantive working knowledge of US Federal and state laws and regulations relating to the pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal contact for patient support programs and diagnostic testing initiatives, acting as the liaison among business colleagues and all other relevant legal functions
• Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts required for implementation of patient support programs and diagnostic testing programs
• Advise business partners on the design, launch, and ongoing operation of patient support and diagnostic testing programs, including copay and patient assistance programs, risk mitigation, and customer interactions
• Review external materials for content related to patient support and diagnostic testing programs
• Collaborate with colleagues in the US Privacy Office and Ethics & Business Integrity on relevant privacy and compliance workstreams
• Cross‑Functional responsibilities including adherence to policies, regulatory developments, and training for internal teams
• Engage with commercial partners across functions such as sales, medical, regulatory, operations, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, pharmacovigilance, and external affairs
