Paramount Pictures seeks a Senior Counsel to join the Law Department, supporting the U.S. Distribution (USD) group. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad set of distribution agreements across linear, VOD, and streaming platforms.

Leadership on complex negotiations and mentoring junior attorneys are key expectations. The ideal candidate has NY Bar admission or eligibility, extensive contract and corporate law experience, and the ability to guide senior leadership on

Qualifications

• Extensive, in-depth knowledge of contract and general corporate law.
• Ability to independently evaluate, structure, and draft complex agreements for clients.
• Strong ability to negotiate high-stakes matters with third parties.
• Proven skill in managing relationships with Paramount personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, high-value negotiations with minimal oversight.
• Provide legal advice on a range of business affairs matters.
• Monitor contractual and regulatory compliance across distributions.
• Assist USD group with cross-functional interactions and senior leadership.
• Guide and mentor junior attorneys and review work products.
• Support senior leadership as needed.
