Tyson & Mendes seeks a Senior Counsel in Los Angeles with 8+ years of insurance defense/civil litigation experience. The role emphasizes case strategy, trial preparation, and mentoring other attorneys.

A California Bar license is required, with flexible, primarily remote work for experienced litigators. You’ll manage complex matters, lead depositions, mediations, and motion practice while developing strong client and carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including defense and civil matters.
• Active California Bar license.
• Case management and litigation execution from discovery to trial.
• Experience with depositions, mediations, and motion practice.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Established client and carrier communication skills.
• Leadership mindset and mentoring interest.
• Ability to move sophisticated matters forward independently.
• JD from ABA-approved school and law license in state.

Responsabilités

• Develop case themes and oversee strategy from inception to resolution.
• Lead depositions, mediations and motion practice.
• Direct client and carrier relationships.
• Prepare for trials and provide courtroom advocacy.
