The role requires guiding legal strategy across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel. The position emphasizes leadership, risk assessment, policy interpretation, and effective representation in proceedings and litigation, with a competitive salary

Qualifications

• J.D. or LLB from an accredited law school; license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
• At least 10–12 years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
• Extensive knowledge of principles and procedures in the legal field; capable of handling complex assignments.
• Excellent legal research, analytical abilities, and current knowledge of federal/state law.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and supervise complex legal assignments.
• Evaluate legal and business risks and advise clients accordingly.
• Interpret and apply organizational policy according to law.
• Represent the company in agency proceedings and litigation.
• Prepare and revise budgets and early matter assessments involving outside counsel.
• Provide leadership to less experienced attorneys and support staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
