Constellation, as a leading energy company in the United States, seeks a senior lawyer to support development and construction of natural gas-fired power plants, battery storage, solar, and sequestration projects across the country. You will handle complex legal matters, supervise assignments, and guide junior attorneys.

The role requires 8+ years in law, licensed practice, and strong capability in risk assessment, policy interpretation, and persuasive written and oral communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in a specialized area of law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and supervise complex legal assignments.
• Evaluate legal and business risks and advise clients accordingly.
• Interpret and apply organizational policy according to law.
• Represent the company in agency proceedings and litigation.
• Prepare and revise budgets and early matter assessments involving outside counsel.
• Provide leadership to less experienced attorneys and support staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
