Job summary

Google is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support its Technical Infrastructure practice. You will focus on high-value transactions, including data center development, energy and water procurement, and global projects.

The role requires a JD with bar admission and at least 10 years in government, in-house, or law firm settings dealing with cloud or infrastructure matters. You will work autonomously, guiding executives, and shaping legal strategy while balancing risk with Google's business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements for complex infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of global regulatory ecosystems and competition law in cloud and infrastructure contexts.
• Ability to advise on high-stakes legal issues with autonomy and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements for Google's infrastructure procurement and operations.
• Advise senior executives and leaders, shaping long-term legal strategy for high-impact projects.
• Collaborate across Legal, Technical Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to align legal approaches.
• Manage external counsel relationships and optimize delivery and costs.
• Develop and lead improvements in regulatory compliance frameworks across jurisdictions.
