Job summary

Prologis seeks a Director Transactional Counsel (Energy Solutions) to act as the key legal partner for renewable energy projects, focusing on development and commercial transactions. You will support Solar origination and development teams on PPAs, site control, development and entitlement matters, EPC agreements, and related legal issues through origination to construction.

You will partner with real estate, leasing, development, origination, execution, finance, tax, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of legal experience in renewable energy project development or commercial energy transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating solar PPA or distributed-energy agreements.
• Experience with EPC contracts and site-control/real estate agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal partner to Solar origination team on transaction structure and risk.
• Draft, review, and negotiate PPAs, leases, and related agreements for solar projects.
• Advise on evaluation and structuring of new solar opportunities and related issues.
