Alliance Defending Freedom seeks a Senior Counsel, Director of the Center for Life, to lead litigation strategy and supervise a team of attorneys in complex pro-life cases. The role reports to the VP of U.S.

Litigation and drives coalitions with pro-life groups nationwide. The incumbent will oversee training, personnel management, and performance reviews, while engaging in public speaking and coordinating cross-team efforts to advance the Center for Life’s objectives in alignment with ADF’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and JD licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in practicing law, including supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Westlaw software.

Responsibilities

• Strategically assess, develop, initiate, and lead legal advocacy for the Center for Life.
• Lead and supervise a team of attorneys in advanced and complex litigation.
• Litigate complex cases before trial and appellate courts and regulatory agencies.
• Investigate potential cases and initiate actions to protect life and constitutional rights.
• Facilitate coalition building with pro-life groups nationwide.
• Network and develop relationships with allied attorneys.
• Public speaking and media appearances on pro-life issues.
• Meet regularly with team members for progress reviews and performance evaluations.
