Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom seeks a Legal Counsel to focus on the Center for Life, litigating constitutional claims and civil actions in federal and state courts. You will draft filings, conduct research, interview clients, and provide strategic support across pro-life cases while coordinating with allied attorneys and media relations.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active license in at least one US state bar
• Experience in complex litigation is preferred

Responsibilities

• Litigate high-profile lawsuits in support of unborn babies and mothers
• Conduct research for new and pending cases and interview clients
• Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and other court documents
• Prepare and respond to written discovery and defend depositions
• Represent clients in court and before administrative agencies
• Advise allied attorneys on legal issues and collaborate with the Development team
