Job summary

Circle is seeking an experienced senior counsel to support its global capital markets business, Arc network, and crypto partnerships. You will structure, negotiate, and draft complex crypto, fintech, and capital markets agreements, advise on regulatory implications, and help scale Circle’s transactional capabilities across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience in capital markets, crypto, or financial services.
• 3+ years of prior experience at a top-tier law firm.
• J.D. (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex crypto, fintech, and capital markets agreements.
• Familiarity with TradFi capital markets concepts and their intersection with digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted legal partner to Circle's capital markets team, supporting crypto exchange partnerships and institutional transactions globally.
• Structure, negotiate, and draft complex crypto, fintech, and capital markets agreements (exchange listings, market maker, collateral, etc.).
• Support Arc's capital markets go-to-market, including agreements with exchanges and liquidity providers.
• Develop contract templates and playbooks for capital markets transaction types.
• Improve contracting workflows and processes for global capital markets teams.
• Assist business leaders with contract interpretation and management on deals with global counterparties.
