Job summary

Tressler LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel with 10+ years of insurance coverage litigation and an active California bar license to join our nationwide practice. This role can be performed from any state in the U.S. either fully remote or hybrid.

Our Insurance Services Practice Group handles complex claims for insurers across the country, including defective products, mass torts, environmental matters, and professional liability. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Active California bar license required.
• 10+ years of litigation experience required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, writing, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation from intake to settlement or trial.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.
• Conduct depositions and argue dispositive motions.
• Provide strategic advice to clients in disputes and settlements.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
• Support marketing and business development to grow client relationships.

Tressler LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel attorney with 10+ years of insurance coverage experience and an active California bar license to join our insurance coverage practice. This is a unique opportunity for attorneys who have an active California bar license and insurance coverage experience to work from any state in the U.S. either fully remote or hybrid.

Our dynamic Insurance Services Practice Group is known for its comprehensive approach to complex insurance claims analysis and for representing insurance company clients in high-stakes coverage litigation cases across the country, including matters involving defective products, mass torts, environmental contamination, habitability, transportation, personal injury, professional liability, and intellectual property.

• Overseeing complex insurance coverage litigation and managing multiple cases

from intake through settlement or trial.

• Developing and implementing litigation strategies and budgets.
• Conducting and defending depositions and arguing dispositive motions.
• Providing strategic legal advice to clients in business, professional liability, and employment disputes.
• Negotiating and drafting settlement agreements.
