Trane Technologies, based in Davidson, NC, seeks an experienced attorney to support corporate governance, securities, finance, and related matters. The role reports to the VP & Deputy General Counsel – SEC/Securities Law & Corporate Finance and is on-site in Davidson, with optional remote Fridays.

The candidate should have a J.D. from a US/Canadian law school, 5+ years of legal experience (in-house a plus), and strong knowledge of federal securities laws and NYSE rules. Travel minimal.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from a US or Canadian law school.
• Licensed to practice in North Carolina or eligible for in-house counsel under NC Rule 5.5(d).
• Minimum 5 years of related legal experience; 3 years in-house preferred.
• Global experience essential; strong knowledge of securities laws and NYSE rules.

Responsabilités

• Provide regular legal advice on governance, securities, and disclosures.
• Lead corporate entity management for subsidiaries worldwide.
• Prepare SEC filings including Forms 10-K/10-Q/8-K and manage Section 16 filings.
• Support sustainability reporting and proxy statements.
