Public Storage is seeking a highly experienced Assistant General Counsel, Consumer to provide strategic legal advice across marketing, advertising, pricing, and consumer-facing initiatives. The role partners with senior leaders to navigate regulatory requirements and drive compliant business growth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of private practice and in-house experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and bar admission in good standing, preferably in Texas.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to a state bar in good standing with the ability to practice in-house in Texas.
• 10+ years of legal experience, with focus on marketing, pricing and business counseling.

Responsibilities

• Advise on marketing and advertising across campaigns and content to ensure legal accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide legal counsel on revenue management, pricing initiatives, and related tools/models while ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws.
• Advise on customer communications, call center operations, and related regulatory requirements (e.g., TCPA).
• Counsel on consumer-facing products, services, rental terms, disclosures, fees, and promotions.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to senior leadership and train partners on compliance matters.
• Develop and implement corporate compliance programs and training.
