Job summary

Inventiva is seeking a Senior Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor for US clinical contracting matters. You will lead drafting, review and negotiation of CROs, CTAs and site agreements, partnering with Clinical Operations to align terms with program goals.

You will advise on IP, indemnification, data ownership and privacy, while driving process improvements across the contracting function in a small but evolving organization.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating CRO, CTA and site agreements.
• Ability to lead complex negotiations with senior stakeholders.
• Strong risk assessment and practical, solution-focused guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review and negotiation of clinical development agreements.
• Partner with Clinical Operations on terms, budgets and milestones.
• Advise on IP, indemnification, confidentiality, data ownership and privacy.
• Streamline contracting processes and reduce cycle times.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters.
