Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom is seeking a senior attorney to lead the most advanced and complex litigation handled by the organization, focusing on First Amendment and civil rights actions. You will supervise senior, midlevel, and junior attorneys and train them in all phases of state and federal litigation.

The role requires a J.D. with an active bar license and 10+ years of complex litigation experience, along with strong research, writing, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active license in at least one U.S. state.
• 10+ years of complex litigation experience.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, WordPerfect, and Westlaw.

Responsibilities

• Litigate complex cases at appellate and trial levels.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys.
• Prepare, file, and edit legal briefs.
• Develop trial strategies and arguments.
• Interview clients and witnesses.
