Job summary

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and license to practice law in at least one state.
• Minimum of 8 years of commercial legal experience in private practice, in-house and/or government.
• Experience drafting and negotiating software/services agreements and in the construction/automation tech space.
• Ability to draft clear, actionable contract language with or without templates.
• Strong business judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate new agreements governing contractor engagements, autonomous software and service offerings, and commercial partnerships.
• Counsel business teams on data, IP, insurance, safety and privacy principles.
• Support strategic programs and launch initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Operate as a trusted business partner to Operations, Engineering and Business Development.
• Review products and programs to ensure commercial, regulatory and safety alignment.
