Qualifications

• Knowledge of global regulatory regimes (EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and ability to apply them to product development.
• Experience advising AI/software product teams and navigating regulatory constraints.
• In-house legal experience at a technology company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance with focus on risk balance and rapid, practical advice.
• Shape AI strategy and compliance for AI software products, including pricing and privacy considerations.
• Support sales and marketing through AI trust initiatives and compliance as a deal facilitator.
• Engage regulators and industry groups to align on regulatory goals.
• Promote internal innovation by adopting tech to streamline legal review processes.
• Translate complex requirements into clear guidance for leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor and lead junior colleagues within the legal team.
