Ladders is seeking a Senior Counsel, AI & Product to join a leader in the Information Technology space. The role partners with product, engineering, marketing, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle. It helps shape governance for AI-enabled capabilities and assess legal risk while supporting responsible deployment of emerging technologies.

Location: Remote. Compensation: $204,000-$327,500 annually.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 8–10 years of combined law firm and in-house experience counseling technology companies on product development and emerging-technology legal issues.
• Hands-on experience advising on generative AI governance, deployment, or compliance.
• Broader experience with automated decision-making and algorithmic systems is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of U.S. consumer protection and communications law, biometric privacy statutes, and state AI laws.
• Experience building or operating an AI governance program preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Counsel, AI & Product to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle. The attorney will help shape governance for AI-enabled capabilities, assess legal risk, and support the responsible deployment of emerging technologies across the business. In addition, this position will monitor evolving AI and privacy regulations and translate complex developments into actionable advice that supports innovation and compliant product launches.

Location: Remote
