Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our legal team. You will handle a variety of transactional and commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on compliance, and supporting business objectives with an emphasis on regulatory and contractual issues.

You will work closely with senior management, provide guidance on risk mitigation, assist in mergers and acquisitions, and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of three years of transactional or commercial law experience with a combination of large law firms and/or in-house pharmaceutical experience.
• Ability to practice as an in-house lawyer in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, analyze, structure, and negotiate manufacturing, packaging, development, purchase, supply, license, and service agreements.
• Advise and provide training to business unit personnel on compliance policies, customer and vendor relations, contract matters, and regulatory issues.
• Assist in merger and acquisition activity.
• Help resolve customer disputes and claims, support litigation, and direct outside counsel in dispute and litigation matters.
• Provide general advice to senior management and other senior company personnel on a day-to-day basis.
• Offer guidance to achieve business objectives in compliance with laws and regulations while avoiding unacceptable risks.
