Job summary

Copperhead Technologies, an operating firm of Command Holdings, seeks a senior-level COTS Integration Engineer to support the VA OI&T DMSQAR program. The engineer will own configuration, integration, and vendor coordination for the BHL Touch app within the VA Data Collection Tool program.

The role requires leading API integrations, identity management (SSOe/ID.me), and maintaining secure data flows across systems, working with COTS vendors and VA staff in a fast-paced federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with COTS product vendors and other contractors to implement ISO standards, protocols, and integrative technologies.
• Deep systems integration expertise, including configuration of forms-based COTS solutions and integrating COTS software via API.
• Experience managing single sign-on and identity federation integrations, such as SSOe and ID.me, including troubleshooting authentication issues.
• Experience configuring and managing user permissions and role-based access controls within a COTS application environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a Tier 1 federal background investigation including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and integrate the BHL Touch COTS platform and Onboarding Application with APIs, coordinating with the vendor on configurations and policy changes.
• Manage the Onboarding Application's identity and access workflows, including synchronization with VA UDPaaS and DCT.
• Lead integration of BHL Touch with supporting APIs and ensure data flows align with program requirements.
• Troubleshoot SSOe/ID.me authentication and API endpoint issues affecting BHL Touch and related BI tools.
