Ideal candidates have a background in engineering, construction, or related fields, plus at least 1 year of cost segregation experience, strong reading of blueprints, and solid communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cost segregation, construction, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction processes, and IRS regulations pertaining to cost segregation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and gather data to identify assets that qualify for accelerated depreciation.
• Perform in-depth analysis of architectural plans, construction documents, and blueprints.

Position Overview

We are seeking an entry level or 2 to 4 year experienced Cost Segregation Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves detailed analysis and fieldwork to conduct cost segregation studies, requiring travel to client sites approximately 60% of the time. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, construction, or related fields and possess the analytical skills to break down building components for tax purposes.
