Raytheon, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) in a hybrid capacity. The role collaborates across finance, engineering, operations, contract and program office to deliver cost performance and EV analysis, enabling informed leadership decisions. Located in a hybrid setup with sites across AZ, MA and other U.S.

locations, the position requires U.S. citizenship, strong communication skills and the ability to lead complex cost- containment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field; 5+ years in finance/accounting, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to access restrictions on government systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly program reports.
• Support Earned Value Management implementation and maintenance, including variance analysis and EV deliverables.
• Develop quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs).
• Support monthly forecasting process with stakeholder coordination and plan updates.
• Provide support for internal program reviews, including chart development and presentation.
• Meet CSDR reporting requirements (1921 deliverables).
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support to program leadership.
