Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience on construction projects.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate changes throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans and final cost estimates.
• Review design and contractor estimates; reconcile changes.
• Lead cost checks, valuations and change-control processes.
• Prepare funding data and coordinate value engineering sessions.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices.
