Job summary

Mace in New York is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end cost management within PMIS platforms and related ERP integrations.

You will define data models, oversee reporting, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and governance across complex construction programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in relevant architecture roles.
• Expertise in PMIS and ERP systems within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of CBS and WBS alignment is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and deployment of cost management within PMIS platforms.
• Draft and develop system architecture that integrates cost management with other GDC systems and applications.
• Define data models, workflows, and business rules for budget, actuals, forecasting, and change management.
• Lead the team to configure cost sheets, cash flow curves, and funding source tracking.
• Serve as cost management SME including KPI definition, cost-at-completion forecasting, and variance analysis, etc.
• Establish cost breakdown structures (CBS) aligned with GDC program and organizational reporting hierarchies.
• Support the development and enforcement of cost management procedures, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Lead the team for program/project cost reports/dashboard design and development, especially GDC Data warehouse integration hub for monthly cost reporting.
• Advise on budget baseline management, change order workflows, and contingency tracking (if any).
• Partner with owners, program managers, and finance teams to translate business requirements into system configurations.
• Present cost performance data and system capabilities to GDC & MPA leadership and project control team.
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and user adoption initiatives across multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Coordinate with IT, Project Control team and vendors to resolve any technical issues and system enhancements.
• Support GDC programs across all construction packages and all task orders.
• Ensure PMIS cost data aligns with GDC reporting requirements and audit standards.
• Drive interoperability between PMIS and other ERP systems (such as Sage) for financial reconciliation.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

You’ll Need To Have:

• 10 + years of experience in solutions architecture for PMIS, ERP and similar products


• Advanced knowledge and understanding of cost management and CBS and WBS alignment.


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.


• Proven experience in administering project management information systems (PMIS) leading in complex construction projects or infrastructure developments.
