Senior Cost Manager - PMIS Architect

Job summary

Mace is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead cost management within PMIS platforms for large construction programs. You will define data models, workflows, and business rules for budgets, forecasts, and actuals, while guiding a multi-disciplinary team on CBS alignment and ERP integrations.

The role emphasizes governance, KPI definition, and monthly cost reporting through the data warehouse hub, with collaborative engagement across owners, program managers, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture for PMIS, ERP and similar products
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of cost management and CBS and WBS alignment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• Proven experience in administering project management information systems (PMIS) leading in complex construction projects or infrastructure developments

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and deployment of cost management within PMIS platforms
• Draft and Develop system architecture that integrates cost management with other GDC systems and applications as required
• Define data models, workflows, and business rules for budget, grant commitments, actuals, forecasting, and change management
• Lead the team to configure cost sheets, cash flow curves, and funding source tracking
• Serve as cost management functional SME including KPI definition, cost-at-completion forecasting, and variance analysis, etc.
• Establish cost breakdown structures (CBS) aligned with GDC program and organizational reporting hierarchies
• Support the development and enforcement of cost management procedures, standards, and governance frameworks
• Lead the team for program/project cost reports/dashboard design and development, especially GDC Data warehouse integration hub for monthly cost reporting
• Advise on budget baseline management, change order workflows, and contingency tracking (if any)
• Partner with owners, program managers, and finance teams to translate business requirements into system configurations
• Present cost performance data and system capabilities to GDC & MPA leadership and project control team.
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and user adoption initiatives across multi-disciplinary project teams
• Coordinate with IT, Project Control team and vendors to resolve any technical issues and system enhancements
• Support GDC programs across all construction packages and all task orders.
• Ensure PMIS cost data aligns with GDC reporting requirements and audit standards
• Drive interoperability between PMIS and other ERP systems (such as Sage) for financial reconciliation
