Job summary

Gleeds in Denver, Colorado is seeking an ambitious Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to join our team on large-scale data center, mission critical, commercial and manufacturing projects for global clients.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of cost management experience in construction, strong communication skills, and a solid background in estimating, cost reporting and post‑contract activities. This is a client‑facing role requiring collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of cost management experience in construction.
• Experience in estimating, cost control, and value engineering.
• Strong client-facing communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of procurement routes and risk assessment.
• Experience with change orders and vendor negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor prequalification, bids, and award decisions.
• Develop project estimates including direct and indirect costs.
• Establish cost reporting schedules and track forecasts.
• Review payment applications and change orders with clients.
• Support post-contract closeout and value engineering.
