Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm seeking an experienced Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor for large-scale data center construction projects. The role interfaces directly with clients to deliver value-added cost management across multi-building campuses and phased developments.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of cost management experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with design teams and contractors. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, or related field.
• 5–7 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Review and participate with the design services team and general contractor in cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist the general contractor to ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information for cost discussions and suppliers direct from NPA, subs, quantities from A/Es.
• Develop cost plans and estimates through the design phase with milestones.
