Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking a cost estimator to assess labor and material costs for proposals and manufacturing projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, BOMs, and pricing data to build accurate cost estimates and cost models.

Responsibilities include collecting data from internal and external stakeholders, preparing cost reports, and presenting findings to management, contract personnel, and customers. Occasional telework is available and travel is required.

Competenze

• Proven experience in cost estimating for manufacturing/engineering projects.
• Ability to analyze specifications, sketches, BOMs, and layouts to determine production costs.
• Experience collecting cost data from vendors and subcontractors.
