Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Cost Estimator Analyst (mid-senior) to provide financial analysis and cost-estimating support for the CPS Program. The role is onsite at the Washington, DC Navy Yard with occasional telework, and requires a US Citizen with a active DoD Secret clearance.

The position involves developing baselines, cost models, risk analyses, and economic studies while mentoring junior analysts and presenting findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Active DOD Secret clearance required
• US Citizen required
• Experience with Navy financials and cost estimation
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate program baselines
• Create cost estimates and OSS/O&S estimates
• Perform risk, uncertainty and sensitivity analyses
• Develop economic analyses and cost/benefit studies
• Assess credibility of government and industry estimates
• Document and present analytical results
• Coach less experienced cost analysts
• Communicate complex results to senior managers
