Job Description:

We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Estimators to support our project development efforts across various disciplines. This is a remote, ad-hoc opportunity ideal for professionals who are adept at developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates based on conceptual or schematic design drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret conceptual drawings and project scopes.
• Prepare ROM cost estimates with limited design information.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
• Maintain documentation of assumptions, cost data sources, and estimate methodologies.
• Provide input on value engineering and cost-saving opportunities during pre-construction phases.

Required Expertise (All of the following):

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction estimating.
• Ability to develop reliable cost estimates from conceptual drawings and limited specifications.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools and software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
