Qualifications

This leadership role is located on-site in one of the following office locations with travel expectations:Clearfield, UT (10 % travel)Dayton, OH (25% travel)El Segundo, CA (30% travel)Redondo Beach, CA (30% travel)This Senior Manager position leads a talented team of cost and schedule management individuals that support the Aerostructures Business Area.Overall responsibilities include financial planning & reporting management, cost and schedule performance management, earned value management, risk and opportunity management, and all strategic and indirect management associated with the program. Additional key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Manage staffing needs, including: hiring/training/developing employees, assigning work scope to employees, and providing daily direction to employeesCollaborate across other functional teams to ensure the success of program prioritiesInterface with a multitude of internal and external customers, including: sector/division/program leadership (e.g. VPs/Directors), government customers (e.g. USAF), and auditing agencies (e.g. DCMA and Deloitte).Oversee the development, implementation, and management of program budgets to enable programs to manage performanceMaintain compliance to internal and external policies and procedures (e.g. EVM, FAR, SOX, etc.)Assist in financial planning/reporting/analysis, including: profitability assessments, financial forecasting, and cash management.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 9 years of Business Management work experience or Master's degree with 7 years of Business Management work experiencePrior managerial experience requiredMust be able to support required travel based on location (UT 10%, OH 25%, CA 30%)Aerospace industry experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelinesWorking knowledge of EVM systems, including: Cobra or similar systemsProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applicationsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsPreferred Qualifications10+ years Business Management work experience, and an MBA or other related master’s degreeFamiliarity with cost and schedule management processes and toolsAdvanced ability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applicationsExperience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teamsExperience interfacing with government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as accounting auditing agencies such as DeloitteExperience utilizing SAP S4, Hyperion (or related financial software), Cobra, and wInsightActive US government secret or top secret clearanceSalary Ranges will vary based on location:Clearfield, UT: 151,500 - 227,300Dayton, OH: 159,500 - 239,300El Segundo / Redondo Beach, CA: 175,400 - 263,200Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $263,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
