Balchem Corporation is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to support cost accounting, inventory planning, and financial analysis across manufacturing sites. You will partner with operations and supply chain leadership to drive cost efficiency and improve reporting.

The role emphasizes SOX controls, process improvements, and collaboration with finance teams. 5–7 years in manufacturing finance and ERP experience (D365/Oracle/SAP) are preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting, finance, or cost accounting experience.
• Manufacturing finance and standard costing experience required.
• Experience with inventory accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• ERP experience (D365, Oracle, SAP) and Oracle EPM preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead monthly cost accounting close activities for assigned manufacturing sites and business units.
• Prepare, review, and analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead, production volume).
• Post journal entries related to inventory, manufacturing costs, accruals, and other areas.
• Support standard cost development, annual cost rolls, and cost updates.
• Analyze inventory transactions and balances for costing accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range operating plans.
• Partner with plant management and supply chain leadership to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Provide financial support for capital projects and operational initiatives.
• Review production orders, cost transactions, and identify unusual trends for corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership and audits.
• Mentor junior analysts on cost accounting methodologies and reporting tools.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned.
