Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead standard costing, cost rollups, and variance analysis for Arsenal-1. You will ensure accurate inventory valuation, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive cost-effective manufacturing decisions.

You will interface with external auditors, support pricing and FAR/CAS requirements, and contribute to IPO readiness through scalable systems and SOX-compliant controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 5–7 years progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with standard costing in low-volume, high-dollar manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/CAS government contracting cost principles.
• Experience maintaining internal controls and supporting external audits.
• ERP proficiency (Oracle/SAP) and data analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate across functions and influence leadership.
• U.S. citizenship required per contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard costing for product lines and sites.
• Review work orders, variance analysis, closures for Arsenal-1.
• Support cost accounting close, cost rollups, reconciliations of inventory and WIP.
• Maintain internal controls and remediate deficiencies.
• Administer inventory cycle counts at Arsenal-1 with proper valuation.
• Interface with external auditors during annual audits.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and cost drivers with cross-functional teams.
• Support pricing, cost proposals, and FAR/CAS audit requirements.
• Contribute to IPO readiness initiatives and SOX controls.
• Prepare cost analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with production floor stakeholders on improvements.
