Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to own standard costing, variances, and margin analysis across Arsenal-1 manufacturing operations in the U.S. You will work with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to improve cost accuracy and drive efficiency in a high-demand environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in cost accounting within manufacturing, with ERP experience (Oracle/SAP), strong internal controls, and exposure to government contracts (FAR/CAS).

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with standard costing and high-dollar, low-volume production.
• Exposure to government contracting cost principles (FAR/CAS) is a plus.
• Experience with internal controls and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Standard costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting for product lines and sites.
• Close responsibilities including cost roll-ups, absorption reporting, and reconciliations.
• Support internal controls, audits, and annual financial statements.
• Inventory valuation through physical and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering on cost drivers.
• Assist with pricing, cost proposals, and FAR/CAS compliance.
• Support IPO readiness efforts and SOX-compliant controls.
• Provide cost analyses to aid strategic decisions.
