Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to own standard costing, cost analysis, and inventory reconciliation at Arsenal-1. You’ll lead complex variance analysis, partner with operations and engineering, and support external audits.

You’ll be instrumental in IPO readiness, implementing SOX controls, and driving efficiency through automation across manufacturing cost processes in a dynamic, output-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with standard costing in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/CAS government contracting cost principles.
• Experience maintaining internal controls and supporting audits.
• Advanced ERP/data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead standard costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting for designated product lines and sites.
• Perform work order review, variance analysis, and closure for Arsenal-1 site.
• Handle cost roll-ups, absorption reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support internal controls and coordinate with external auditors.
• Oversee physical and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering on cost drivers.
• Assist with pricing, cost proposals, and audit requirements for government contracts.
• Support IPO readiness initiatives and SOX-compliant controls.
• Provide insightful cost analyses to aid strategic decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across financial processes.
