Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Accounting to lead cost and inventory accounting, standard costing, and related close processes. This role reports to the Director of Cost Accounting and will support audits, ensure SOX controls, and advise finance and business partners.

Based in San Jose, CA, the role requires deep GAAP knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to improve cost visibility and accounting quality.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting background with knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, inventory accounting, and related analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA/CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory roll forwards.
• Oversee annual audit support and quarterly reviews for cost and inventory.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting policies, procedures, and SOX controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, FP&A, and Procurement to improve cost visibility and reporting.
