Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago seeks a cost accounting professional to support inventory costing for North America manufacturing. You will partner with finance, operations, and business contacts to streamline costing, support new product development, and improve standard/actual costing accuracy.

You will refine month-end close, manage SAP Material Ledger, and lead cost-related projects, including BOM updates and ERP transitions to SAP S/4HANA. Strong Excel/BI skills and CPA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, product costing, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to lead process improvement efforts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute month-end close journal entries, including variance pass backs and cost component analysis.
• Provide accounting guidance to accounting and non-accounting colleagues.
• Define and implement process improvements for closing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Become proficient in SAP Material Ledger close process.
• Consolidate and publish variance analysis reporting.
• Develop and conduct training sessions and project deliverables as needed.
