Responsibilities

• Review standard costs and variances.
• Review job costs (bill of materials) before closing jobs to catch errors.
• Identify and research trends in material and labor costs and expenses.
• Prepare analysis of revenue variances – price, volume, and mix analysis.
• Analyze actual cost to standards and budget and forecast.
• Monitor inventory and labor recording activities for accurate production costs.
• Prepare month-end inventory, productivity, and variance analyses.
• Support month-end close including standard cost and gross margin analysis.
• Record inventory and cost-related journal entries.
• Assist with analyzing performance vs. operating plans and annual budget.
• Cost absorption analysis and forecasting.
• Monitor cycle count program to ensure proper accounting.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and SOX documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist audits.
• Year-end standard cost revaluation and SKU-level cost/margin analysis.
• Lead annual physical inventory of all locations.
