Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5-7 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience developing and implementing standard costs.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost accounting function by developing and documenting cost processes with the Operational Accounting team.
• Develop and own product costing methodologies including labor and overhead rates.
• Analyze inventory movement and valuation and advise on financial impacts of changes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline cost accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with cost data validation.
• Oversee month-end close related to production costing and inventory.
