Teracore is seeking a Senior Accountant to support cost and inventory accounting in a manufacturing setting. You will work with Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate cost data, inventory valuation, and month-end close.

The role emphasizes hands-on, analytical work and compliance with GAAP and government contracting standards. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of experience, Deltek Costpoint proficiency, and eligibility for SECRET

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting, manufacturing preferred.
• Strong cost and inventory accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls required.
• Experience with government contract accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard and actual product costs including variances.
• Support inventory accounting and cycle counts.
• Review manufacturing transactions and cost movements.
• Assist monthly close, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze gross margins and job profitability.
• Reconcile inventory subledgers to GL.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain documentation and internal controls over inventory.
• Support external audits and government contract audits.
• Assist with Deltek Costpoint and manufacturing processes.
