Job summary

The incumbent in this position supervises a specialized caseload consisting of youthful offenders, drug offender probation, community controlees, pre-trial intervention offenders, or any combination of the above. As workload demands require, this role may supervise other offender classifications and perform intake, court liaison, trainer, and electronic monitoring duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Certified in accordance with Florida Statutes 943.13.
• Employees must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, surveils and maintains a specialized offender caseload.
• Performs intake, court liaison duties, trainer and electronic monitoring tasks.
• Directs and supervises correctional probation officers when needed.
• Conducts field and office supervision visits to ensure compliance with supervision conditions.
• Develops offender treatment plans and monitors progress.
