Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center seeks an experienced LVN for a correctional facility. You will provide nursing care, document encounters in the EHR, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support inmate health needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, administering meds, and guiding non-licensed staff under supervision. Requires TX LVN license and at least two years of LVN experience.

Qualifikationen

Completion of a Board of Nursing accredited program of vocational nursing.
Current Vocational Nursing license in Texas or temporary permit to practice pending full licensure.
At least two years of LVN experience in hospital, clinic or community-based setting.

Aufgaben

Provide clinical oversight and guidance to LVNs and non-licensed staff as appropriate.
Deliver basic nursing care within LVN scope, including vital signs and wound care.
Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely per protocol.
Process sick call requests and assist in clinics and screenings.
Maintain medication records and ensure proper documentation in the EHR.
